Stepanakert Municipality to Build Memorial Section for Heroes of 44-Day War

The Stepanakert Municipality has initiated the construction of a new section in the Brotherhood Cemetery, where the heroes who perished in the 44-day war are buried. This information was shared by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Stepanakert Municipality.

“The decision by the city authorities is motivated by the desire to relieve our sacred martyrs' families from financial burdens. Moreover, it is our duty to cherish the immortal memory of our boys and to stand by their relatives,” stated the Mayor's office. They also informed that the construction will proceed in phases and the considerations of the families of the fallen regarding gravestones, photographs, and other details will be discussed and taken into account.

The municipality expresses hope for the support of the entire city population in implementing this sacred project.
