Do Not Be Indifferent: Vic Darchinyan Appeals to World-Famous Athletes Regarding Armenian Prisoners

Professional boxer and nine-time world champion Vic Darchinyan has made a call to all renowned athletes, urging them to speak out on the issue of Armenian prisoners so that they no longer remain incarcerated in Azerbaijani jails as captives.

He emphasized that there are serious problems in his country, Armenia, with the foremost being the return of prisoners to their homeland.

“I appeal to all athletes in the world and urge you not to be indifferent and to join my call for the Azerbaijani leadership to return our Armenian prisoners, who are treated like captives. The war is over; we have lost thousands, and thousands of families have suffered, but there are saved soldiers who can still return home,” Darchinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
