Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Body of 25-Year-Old Employee Found at ZandD LLC Concrete Plant

A tragic incident occurred in Yerevan yesterday, on March 9. At around 1:40 PM, the Arabkir Police Department received a call from the emergency medical services indicating that a medical team had been dispatched to the ZandD LLC concrete plant at 3/20 Tbilisi Highway, where they discovered a man's body.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Arabkir Police Department, led by the head of the criminal investigation unit, Arthur Zakaryan, arrived at the scene.

The police and investigators determined that the deceased was 25-year-old Vagarshak Khachatryan, a resident of the Davitashen administrative district of Yerevan. He worked as an operator's assistant at ZandD LLC, and it appears that a machine transporting gravel and sand pushed him, leading to fatal injuries that caused his immediate death.

Based on the senior investigator Aivazyan's decision, a criminal case has been initiated, and a forensic examination has been ordered.
