Increased Inspections in Public Transport Serving the Capital

The State Health and Labor Inspection Body, in cooperation with the Ministry of Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection, has continued to conduct intensified monitoring in public transport to ensure compliance with Covid safety norms, alongside the Road Police.

As a result of the intensified inspections, experts from the Inspection Body recorded a number of violations in the passenger transport system. In particular, both drivers and passengers were found not wearing masks, there were overcrowded minibuses, and some routes lacked disinfectant materials.

Administrative violation reports have been prepared, based on which penalties will be applied. The experts from the Inspection Body also conducted preventive explanatory and awareness-raising activities, providing instructions for rectifying the issues observed on-site.
