Defense Ministry Statement on Border Situation

On March 9 and 10, a stable operational tactical situation has been maintained along the entire length of the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line on the state border of the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

According to information received from the RA NSS, no border incidents have been recorded on the section of the interstate Goris-Kapan highway, specifically the Vorotan-David Bek segment, which is under the jurisdiction of the border guards of the National Security Service.

The units of the RA Armed Forces and the NSS border guards are monitoring the border situation along the entire border and are carrying out their assigned tasks,” the statement said.
