60 Crimes Solved in One Day: Fraud, Kidnapping, Violence Against a Government Representative
According to summaries of operational reports from the police, between March 9 and 10, law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia solved 60 cases of crime, including 3 that were committed previously.
Specifically, they included 16 cases of fraud, 8 cases each of personal property theft and infliction of bodily harm, 4 cases each of intentional damage to property and drug detection, 3 cases of threats to kill, and 2 cases each of abuse of official powers, beating, violations of occupational safety rules, and embezzlement or misappropriation. There was 1 case each of kidnapping, illegal tree felling, bribery, violence against a government representative, obstructing the implementation of contact between a parent or other close relative and a child, and willfully failing to execute an urgent intervention decision or protective measure.
One missing person and five wanted individuals have been identified. There was one case registered of voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition. From previously committed crimes, there was one case each of personal property theft, infliction of bodily harm, and hit and run.
In the past day, there were 11 recorded traffic incidents in the republic, resulting in injuries of varying degrees to 13 individuals.
