The Authority is Losing Even the Law Enforcement. Pashinyan is Trying to Take Countermeasures. "Fact"
The political deep crisis in Armenia has created a deadlock in all sectors, leading to a paralyzed situation everywhere. Political developments have long exceeded both political and scientific logic.
According to information from the "Fact" newspaper, a significant number of law enforcement personnel have recently exited their positions, including from the police and the NSS, based on their applications. Many are still not dismissed but are unwilling to follow the orders of the government. Moreover, we have information that some high-ranking officials from the police have "implied" to the opposition that despite remaining in the system, they are actually supporting the opposition's demand for Nikol Pashinyan's resignation and the generals.
Our source does not rule out that some of them may soon make a public statement to express their views openly.
This is, of course, also known to Pashinyan, who is attempting to take countermeasures. One of these is that the authorities want to grant the State Protection Service the status of an organization under the Prime Minister’s authority, thus removing it from the NSS system.
On the other hand, there were intense rumors yesterday that the military police have started to exert pressure on military personnel to prevent them from demanding Pashinyan's resignation. According to our information, so far, this has been in vain.
