Former Interior Minister of Nakhchivan Arrested
Former Interior Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ahmedov, has been arrested. According to haqqin.az, earlier reports circulated regarding Ahmedov's imprisonment related to the embezzlement of funds, and the selection of a preventive measure of detention against him.
Ahmedov was dismissed from his position in 2017.
