Azerbaijanis Tried to Conduct Covert Operations in Kapan and Succeeded: Gevorg Gorgisyan, 'Factinfo'

We have security issues that need to be resolved as soon as possible. Instead of addressing these issues, those in power continue to fight against the old guard, while opposition forces hurl insults. This cannot continue any longer.

This was stated by Gevorg Gorgisyan, the secretary of the 'Bright Armenia' faction, in a conversation with 'Factinfo', emphasizing that extraordinary elections should be held soon.

Referring to the videos made by Azerbaijani soldiers in Kapan, the MP noted that the recording was done secretly and there was no permission for filming. “Azerbaijanis tried to conduct covert operations and succeeded. The work of the National Security Service is not satisfactory at all; even if the recording was made within the framework of a trilateral visit, it is clear that there should have been an agreement on what is allowed and what is not. Given that they tried to make the recording while maintaining secrecy, I assume there was no permission,” said Gorgisyan.

According to the MP, the National Security Service is currently occupied with following opposition figures and capturing fake accounts, which indicates that they are misusing their resources.
