Azerbaijan and Turkey Sign New Memorandum Regarding Territories in Nagorno-Karabakh Under Baku's Control

The Istanbul Technopark and Azerbaijan's Agency for Innovation have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of high technology. This was reported in a statement from the Istanbul Technopark, according to Anadolu Agency.

The document envisages joint activities between the parties in the future and the establishment of joint high-tech parks. Specifically, it concerns the transformation of the territories in Nagorno-Karabakh that have passed under Baku's control into a center for high technology and innovations, the exchange of experiences and knowledge, the retraining of young specialists, as well as the organization of programs aimed at raising the level of technological knowledge in the region.

The General Director of Istanbul Technopark, Bilal Topcu, expressed satisfaction regarding the fact that the technopark will be able to support Azerbaijan's innovation agency in the “new history writing” of Nagorno-Karabakh.
