Armen Sarkissian's Family Will Pass Down the Label of Traitor for Generations
Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the "Henaket" analytical center, wrote on his Facebook page: "President Armen Sarkissian's decision to equally share the responsibility for the pre-war, wartime, and post-war situation with Nikol Pashinyan is his affair; let's be honest, we couldn't have expected anything else from him. The stigma of a traitor is passed down from generation to generation, and Armen Sarkissian's family will carry this label for decades.
I repeat, this was a conscious decision made by Armen Sarkissian. In doing so, Armen Sarkissian and Nikol Pashinyan are not only incapable of halting the fight against the removal of power but are, conversely, escalating it. The behind-the-scenes agreement between the Prime Minister and the President has renewed the activity of the political forces involved in this struggle, while the armed forces have entered a phase of recovery, healing, and consolidation following the severe post-war trauma. These ongoing processes within the armed forces will provide fertile ground for effective reform processes and successful advancement after a political resolution."
