Armen Sarkissian Sends Mediator to Onik Gasparyan

According to information circulating on the internet, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian sent a mediator to the Chief of General Staff (CGS) to persuade Onik Gasparyan to resign. It is noted that on behalf of Armen Sarkissian, it was conveyed to the CGS chief that if he resigns today, Nikol Pashinyan will also resign and they will proceed to snap elections.

The same source states that in response, Onik Gasparyan said that Nikol should resign first, and then he will decide. He also asked the president to convey that he should stop "defending a traitor."
