Turkey Strengthens Energy Cooperation with Georgia

An additional protocol has been signed in connection with the energy cooperation agreement between Georgia and Turkey. This was reported by the Georgia Online portal, referencing the Georgian embassy in Turkey.

The document was signed on behalf of Georgia's electricity system (ESCO) by Georgian Ambassador Giorgi Janjgava, and on behalf of Turkey by the Executive Director of the Turkish Electricity Corporation (EÜAŞ), İzzet Alagöz.

The protocol aims to simplify the procedures for the import and export of electricity between the two countries.
