Naira Zohrabyan: I too was alerted that Azerbaijanis are demarcating borders in the village in the presence of Russian peacekeepers
The MP from the "Prosperous Armenia" faction of the National Assembly, Naira Zohrabyan, has addressed the statements made by Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan and the NSS regarding reports of Azerbaijani surveying in a number of villages in the region.
She specifically wrote: "The Tavush governor has published a heroic text and labeled as immoral criminals all those who want to understand what is currently happening in the village of Azatamut in Tavush. The governor seems to have gotten so excited as if it is not he, but we, who are the representatives of the power that shouted 'we will win' for 43 days and on the 44th day surrendered Artsakh to the Turk. I too have been alerted that Azerbaijanis are demarcating borders in the village in the presence of Russian peacekeepers, clutching their GPS devices. I spoke earlier with the village mayor, Arthur Beginyan, who also insisted that not a millimeter of land will be given to the enemy from the village. As for why the Russian peacekeepers are in the village, the response from the Ministry of Defense was quite amusing. By the way, in the preliminary version of the capitulation text signed on November 10, there was a section concerning the villages in the Ghazakh region, which later disappeared from the text. Yes, if it turns out that the villagers' alerts are indeed correct and the Barkhudarluh station will pass to the Turk, the governor and the community mayor will join the honorary ranks of the 'Archruns' on site."
