Turkey's School Curriculum is Filled with Radical Ideas and Anti-Christian and Anti-Semitic Sentiments: Report

This week, the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se), based in Tel Aviv, released a new report stating that Turkey's school curriculum is filled with radical ideas. According to the report, the Turkish government has "introduced jihad into textbooks."

"Islam is presented as a political issue, and science and technology are used to achieve its goals," the IMPACT-se report states, which was prepared in collaboration with the British Henry Jackson Society think tank. It highlights that the curriculum includes anti-American propaganda and glorifies ISIS and Al-Qaeda.

Terms such as "Turkish global dominance" and "Turkish or Ottoman world order" are prominently used. The curriculum asserts that "the Turkish sphere extends from the Adriatic Sea to Central Asia," the report indicates.

The report also notes that textbooks display anti-Christian and anti-Semitic sentiments, using the term "infidels" to refer to both religions.
