A Plane-Sized Asteroid Approaches Earth

On Friday, March 5, a plane-sized asteroid will approach Earth. This was announced by the NASA JPL research center.

According to calculations presented on their website, the closest distance of asteroid 2021 CF8 to Earth is about 4.4 million kilometers. The celestial body has a diameter of 52 meters.

On the same day, another asteroid, CN3 2021, will also pass near Earth. While its diameter is smaller, it too will come close to our planet.

In the following three days, three more asteroids will approach Earth. The largest among them, 2021 EB, has a diameter of 43 meters and will be located 2.7 million kilometers away from the planet.
