Military Officials Resign One After Another, Stand Beside the General Staff - "Joghavor"
"Joghavor" newspaper reports: "Before the 44-day war, the authorities increased the number of deputy region heads by one. The newly appointed deputy region heads were supposed to coordinate the activities of the volunteers and were appointed from the military. However, now, after the war, these military officials are resigning one after another and standing beside the General Staff.
It is noteworthy that Onik Gasparyan, along with 40 other generals and colonels, is demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Yesterday, the deputy governor of Vayots Dzor region, reserve colonel Arayik Muradyan, issued a statement declaring that, having participated in the state-building process and considering the current situation unacceptable, he resigns from the position of deputy governor of Vayots Dzor and head of the volunteer military unit (commander).
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already signed the resignation requests of Araksan Alexanyan, deputy governor of Armavir region, and Henrik Muradyan, deputy governor of Gegharkunik region. Another deputy governor, Razmik Petrosyan, is still supporting the authorities." For more details, see today’s issue.
