Fire at the Kosh Penitentiary Institution

On March 5, at 07:30, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a fire had broken out at the Kosh penitentiary institution in the Aragatsotn region.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue directorate's mountain rescue squad were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had originated in the electrical substation. The fire was contained by 08:10 and extinguished by 08:30.
