This was stated today by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant General Andranik Makaryan, during a conversation with reporters at the "Yerablur" pantheon, responding to a question about how he would comment on the General Staff's notorious statement demanding the resignation of the government’s Prime Minister.

Regarding why he did not join that statement, Makaryan said, "Without any comment." As for the fact that many military personnel are declaring that they are beside the army, Makaryan responded, "Are you all next to the media or not? Therefore, all military personnel of the Armenian army are within the army and by its side."
