A Home Will Be Built for A.G., Returned from 120 Days of Captivity, Instead of a Metal Shack in His Native Village, Says MP

“We will build a house for A.G., returned from 120 days of captivity, in his native village of Akhori.” This announcement was made by Aren Mkrtchyan, a member of the National Assembly’s ‘My Step’ faction, on his Facebook page.

“I just paid another visit to Mrs. Anichka’s caravan, this time with completely different news. We will remove the small, dilapidated metal shack where our brother A.G., who returned from 120 days of captivity, lives with his mother, Mrs. Anichka, and his 7-year-old niece, Angelina, and we will build a beautiful stone house on the spot, equipped with a thermal insulation system, new utility lines, and all amenities.

The president of the Armenian community in Hamburg, Serj Angelian, did not refuse my request and took on this good deed, for which I am grateful. I also thank my friend in Hamburg, Ashot Avetian, for his support in organizational matters,” wrote the MP, adding, “We have started the documentation process today. Tomorrow, one of the leading architects in the field will come to Akhori village from Yerevan, and the design work will begin on-site, immediately after which the construction of the house will commence. We will not limit ourselves to just this. More information coming soon.”
