According to reports received by the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, Arsen Mkrtchyan, the President of the Court of Appeals and candidate for the Supreme Court, recently visited the residence of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He was spotted in a family setting with the Prime Minister. The judge candidate dined with Nikol Pashinyan and discussed future actions.

The "Zhoghovurd" newspaper has learned from judicial circles that during this intimate meeting, the Prime Minister assured that Mkrtchyan would be elected as a Supreme Court judge in parliament with a strong majority, rather than the other candidate, academician Armen Haikyan. In return, the parties agreed on how to handle the "whimpering judges." They also discussed specific steps for Mkrtchyan to ensure he would not be perceived as a "whimpering judge on the walls" and who he should be in contact with from the government.
