VIDEO: You Overestimate My Intellectual Abilities, Russian Journalist Tells Alen Simonyan

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, recently impressed Russian journalists with his intellect. When a Russian journalist asked the Deputy Speaker why the Prime Minister made a statement regarding the "Iskander," Alen Simonyan responded, "At this moment, I do not wish to answer that question because various events are taking place in Armenia, on which my answer could have an effect. The only thing I can say is that one must consider the context of events. After that statement, there was a statement from the Prime Minister about dismissing certain high-ranking officials, which was followed by the announcement from the Russian Ministry of Defense. I believe this will hint at the answer to your question," said Alen Simonyan.

To the journalist's question about what the Russian Ministry of Defense has stated, Alen Simonyan mentioned that the Ministry declared that the "Iskander" had not fired during the 44 days of the war.

The Russian journalist, responding to Alen Simonyan, said, "You overestimate my intellectual abilities. You suggest that I can understand everything, but I do not comprehend. Pashinyan spoke about the 'Iskander,' and then the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the 'Iskander' did not fire. I thought, and so what?" Alen Simonyan attempted to clarify that given the situation in Armenia, he does not find it appropriate to respond directly to the journalist's question.
