Video: If Nikol Pashinyan Has Even One Drop of Responsibility for the Fate of the State, He Must Resign, Zatulin

Konstantin Zatulin, a member of the State Duma's "United Russia" faction and first deputy chairman of the Duma's committee on CIS affairs, Eurasian integration, and relations with compatriots, commented on Armenia's internal political situation during the program "Evening with Solovyov."

“Today, our Lazaryan Club, which is an Armenian-Russian club bringing together those concerned about the fate of Russian-Armenian relations, has appealed to the citizens of Armenia and directly to Nikol Pashinyan. I won't quote everything, but I will just say that we told Pashinyan that if he has even one drop of responsibility for the fate of the state he swore to serve, he must resign to allow those who still have confidence in society to neutralize the chaos he has created. Because this player in the story, Mr. Pashinyan, has managed to blame everyone— from Russian missiles to Armenian soldiers— without ever considering himself guilty for the greatest defeat of Armenia and the Armenian people. Today, Armenia faces great danger again; it is being led toward civil war. And this is being done by none other than the person who organizes these protests while he has not succeeded at all in governance or leadership. What else needs to happen in Armenia for people to draw conclusions about the quality of that power? The power that came to power with slogans like 'remove the Russian military base' and 'we must focus on the West.' We know how Pashinyan came to power,” Zatulin stated.
