Hayk Marutyan Hires Individual Dismissed by Pashinyan

Discussions about the tense relationship between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan continue. In this context, it is noteworthy that Marutyan has recently hired a person dismissed by the Prime Minister in the city hall.

The individual in question is Ara Gabrielyan, who served as the acting deputy secretary of the staff and was previously the deputy head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) before being dismissed by Pashinyan’s order. Notably, there is no information about Gabrielyan on the official website of Yerevan Municipality, and even his photo is missing.

According to our information, Ara Gabrielyan is preventing his official biography and photo from being published on the website, possibly due to his not-so-clean past. When Gabrielyan was dismissed from his position by Pashinyan's order, it was reported that SRC Chairman Davit Ananyan was dissatisfied with the heads of the customs department and demanded their resignation.
