Dispute Over Parking in Yerevan Ends in Stabbing; Several Injured
An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on March 2. A dispute ended in stabbing, resulting in multiple injuries. This information was reported by shamshyan.com.
At around 22:40, the Armenia Medical Center notified the Mashtots Division of the Police that a citizen was admitted with a "cut-puncture wound to the abdominal wall".
Police identified the victim as 27-year-old Garik M., resident of the Ajapnyak administrative district. While the police and investigators were clarifying the details of the incident, at 23:45 they received another call from the number one university hospital, indicating that a citizen had been admitted with a "head injury".
Upon arriving at the hospital, police and investigators discovered that the second victim was 43-year-old Gevorg A., a resident of the Erebuni administrative district.
It was revealed that on the same day, around 22:30, a disagreement occurred between Garik M. and Gevorg A. over vehicle parking on Mikoyan Street, during which Garik A. struck Garik M. with a sharp cutting object, while the latter hit Gevorg A. on the head with his hands.
At the Armenia Medical Center, officials informed the police and investigators that Garik M. is currently unable to provide an explanation about the incident.
The police and investigators are taking necessary operational investigative measures to locate the sharp cutting object used in the crime.
