Attempted Suicide Prevented in Yerevan

On March 3, at 12:11 PM, a call was received by the National Crisis Management Center indicating that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by trying to jump from the roof of a building located at 26 Halabyan Street in Yerevan.

Emergency services dispatched one firefighting unit from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Division to the scene.

The citizen, identified as M. K. (born in 1975), received psychological support, and the attempt at suicide was successfully prevented. The individual was hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center, where doctors assessed his health condition as critical.
