A 43-Year-Old Man Stabs a 52-Year-Old Neighbor and a 50-Year-Old Resident in Ashtarak

On March 1, at 23:25, a citizen called the Ashtarak police department, requesting the officers to come to Linchi street in Ashtarak. The operational group of the department quickly arrived at the scene and prevented the escalation of the altercation. Soon it became clear what had happened on Linchi street.

About ten minutes before the call, during a dispute, a 43-year-old man had stabbed his 52-year-old neighbor. A 50-year-old resident from Hekimyan street in Ashtarak was also present during the argument and received knife wounds.

Thanks to the operational-investigative measures taken, Ashtarak police officers located the attacker approximately two hours later and brought him to the department. He provided a confessional statement. During a personal search, the knife used in the crime was discovered in the pocket of his jacket.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
