The Author of the Fatal Accident in Yerevan Involving a 35-Year-Old Woman is the Director of ‘Rio Mall’
According to the investigation launched under the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code, the identity of the pedestrian who was transferred to the ‘Armenia’ Medical Center and later died as a result of a traffic accident on Baghramyan Avenue has been revealed. The pedestrian was identified as 35-year-old Sosi Khanikyan, a resident of Yerevan, as reported by shamshyan.com.
According to the source, Tigran Bosheyan, a 31-year-old from Yerevan, was the driver involved in the accident and works as a director at the well-known ‘Rio Mall’ in Yerevan. The deceased Sosi Khanikyan held the position of content and creative programs director at the Galaxy business group.
It was previously reported that on March 1, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 8:20 PM, Tigran Bosheyan, driving a ‘Mercedes T400’, struck a female pedestrian aged between 20 and 25 near the former Kamo School on Baghramyan Avenue. The driver did not flee the scene, called for an ambulance through Yerevan's 1-03, and assisted the medical team that arrived promptly to take the injured person to the hospital.
While waiting for the traffic police investigators to arrive at the scene, the operational management center of Yerevan's traffic police received a call from the hospital indicating that the pedestrian had died without regaining consciousness.
