Search Operations for Remains Resumed in Artsakh After 15-Day Halt

The rescue teams of the Emergency Situations State Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh have resumed the search operations for the remains of fallen soldiers and missing servicemen today with four teams deployed in the Hadrut region, as well as in the directions of Varanda (Fizuli) and Jrakan (Jebrayil). This information has been reported by the Emergency Situations State Service of the Republic of Artsakh.

It is important to note that searches had been halted since February 15 at the request of the Azerbaijani side.

Since the ceasefire began on November 13, 2020, the search efforts have resulted in the discovery of the remains of 1,485 fallen servicemen (participants in military operations) and civilians.
