Joe Biden Could Recognize the Armenian Genocide If Armenian Authorities Don't Interfere, Political Scientist
Today, around 170 Congress members have appealed to Biden, demanding a tougher stance against Turkey. A similar initiative took place on February 21, when 100 Congress members issued a statement calling for Biden to stand by Armenia and Artsakh against Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression.
Currently, there are anti-Turkish sentiments in Washington, and we must take advantage of them. If Armenian authorities do not hinder the community by initiating a Turkish-Armenian process, the likelihood of Biden recognizing the Genocide will increase. I hope that the ambassador is not recklessly recalled at this responsible moment, although we will soon receive Makunts's agrément.
