Truth Restored: Kremlin's Response to Iskander Statement
The Kremlin has commented on reports stating that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was not accurately briefed about the situation regarding the Iskander missile system. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
"It is very important that the truth has been restored in this matter," the Kremlin stated.
In his recent interview, Pashinyan addressed accusations made by Armenia's third president, Serzh Sargsyan, regarding the failure to deploy the Iskander missiles during the 44-day war. He noted that those missiles either did not detonate or only detonated 10 percent of the time.
In connection with this statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense expressed confusion, also informing that the Iskander missiles were not used in Nagorno-Karabakh.
