I Resign from the Position of Deputy Governor of Gegharkunik and Join the Statement of the Armed Forces' General Staff: Major General Muradyan

Gegharkunik Deputy Governor, former military commissioner of Armenia, Major General Henrik Muradyan has made a statement in which he said:

“Dear compatriots, the short-sighted political strategy of the authorities of the Republic of Armenia has led to the fact that the administration has challenged the Armed Forces of Armenia—something that means raising a hand against the sanctity of our nation—the Armenian army. As a general who stood at the roots of the creation of the Armenian army, I cannot tolerate or forgive any attack against the army, especially when it comes from the authorities of my own country. Therefore, effective immediately, I resign from the position of Deputy Governor of Gegharkunik in accordance with my application, and I join the statement of the Armed Forces' General Staff and support the Chief of Staff.”
