Fatal Accident in Ararat Region: Man Thrown Several Meters and Dies on the Spot

On February 28, a fatal accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 20:30, 38-year-old Eduard Abrahamyan, a resident of Nizami village, struck his fellow villager, 76-year-old Mirza Abramov, with his Mercedes vehicle on the central street of Nizami village. According to the site, the driver did not flee the scene and attempted to assist the injured party; however, the victim passed away at the scene after being thrown several meters from the impact.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code. By the investigator’s directive, the vehicle has been moved to a secure area of the Masis police department.
