Karapet Chalyan Becomes Silver Medalist

At the ongoing international wrestling tournament in Kyiv, Armenia's representative Karapet Chalyan lost in the final match, battling fiercely but ultimately succumbing to Georgian wrestler Ayvengo Rikadze with a score of 3-5. Chalyan competed in a new weight category for him, 82 kg, but displayed great confidence during the match.

It is worth noting that before reaching the final, the wrestler from Gyumri first defeated Ukrainian Artem Matiashin with a score of 8-1, and then went on to beat Ukrainian Yuri Skryuba 3-0. In the quarterfinals, Karapet won against Uzbekistan's Jalghasbay Berdimuratov with a score of 7-2, advancing to the semifinals where he defeated Belarusian wrestler Yaroslav Kursin 5-1.
