Aliyev Comments on Events in Armenia

According to the RIA Novosti agency, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has once again addressed the events taking place in Armenia.

"What is happening in Armenia is a domestic matter of the country," Aliyev stated, adding that agreements regarding Nagorno-Karabakh should be implemented regardless of Armenia's internal situation.

It is noteworthy that the Armenian Armed Forces have issued a statement demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister and the government, while simultaneously warning against using force against the people.

During a rally held in Republic Square for several hours, the Prime Minister announced that he had submitted a request to dismiss the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, which has not yet been signed by the President of Armenia.
