Parents Refuse to Accept Medal for Their Fallen Child
During the 44-day war in Artsakh, the parents of Mikitar Galeyan, who was killed, refuse to accept the "Combat Service" medal awarded by Arayik Harutyunyan. This was reported by Mikitar's mother on her Facebook page.
“We refuse—my husband and I will not accept the medal for our CHILD from a treacherous government. We will receive our medal from a dignified leadership. Our CHILD is a HERO to us, and that is final,” wrote Astghik Galeyan.
