Why the Production of Bread and Carbonated Beverages Has Been Suspended
The inspectors of the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia have conducted regulatory measures at the production sites of individual entrepreneurs Mkhitar Ayvazyan (bread production in Artik, Shirak Province) and Hayrapet Zakaryan (carbonated beverages production in Ejmiadzin, Armavir Province).
It was found that these production sites violated sanitary and hygienic requirements established by Armenian legislation. Additionally, the bread production facility failed to implement necessary measures to prevent animals from entering the premises, and the staff involved in the food chain had not undergone mandatory periodic medical examinations.
As a result, the production activities of these facilities have been suspended, and a deadline has been given to rectify the violations.
