Continuing the military duty along the borders, on February 22, the next detachments of the Union of Land Defenders departed for the frontlines for a combat rotation.

The Union of Land Defenders reports that a total of 225 individuals from the territorial subdivisions of the Union in Aragatsotn region, the Artashat subdivision, and the "Red Berets" platoons will carry out their assigned missions and ensure the security of the borders.

Sasun Mikayelyan, the Chairman of the Union of Land Defenders, wished safe service to the personnel departing for the combat rotation. "We all know what the situation is like on our borders now. We need to consciously do our job, protect the borders, and become stronger. You know that the Land Defenders are already recruiting new, younger individuals; there will be reinforcements in all subdivisions. We must always remain alert, the enemy is treacherous, don’t lose your vigilance. I hope to walk the streets of Shushi with you until my death. I bow before the mothers who have lost their sons. Let us remember that the places where our boys fell on our soil are already sanctuaries; we must return to our holy places.
