The session of the National Assembly Council did not take place because the Speaker of the National Assembly did not come and did not open the council meeting, said Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the "Bright Armenia" faction, in a conversation with reporters.

"In the previous two instances, Lena Nazaryan fulfilled the duties of the Speaker of the National Assembly, she opened the session; however, there was no quorum, and the session did not take place. Now, I consider this disrespectful towards one-fifth of the National Assembly," Marukyan stated.
