How Russian Peacekeepers Were Congratulated in Artsakh on Homeland Defender's Day

Representatives of the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh congratulated servicemen serving at remote observation posts on the occasion of Homeland Defender's Day. The information was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It was noted that on behalf of the command of the peacekeeping contingent, servicemen were presented with certificates of appreciation, departmental awards from the Russian Ministry of Defense, and valuable gifts for the best-performing duty posts.

“During the festive day, a concert program was presented to the peacekeeping soldiers by Artsakh's creative, musical, and dance collectives, as well as the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Strategic Missile Forces, which will hold extensive concert programs at all observation posts, the command post of the group, and for the local population at the cultural center during a week-long tour,” the report stated.

Currently, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and overseeing adherence to the ceasefire regime. They ensure the safety of civilian vehicular traffic and residents' movement through the Lachin corridor, transport food and various goods, accompany repair brigades tasked with infrastructure restoration, and ensure their safety.
