Armenian Plane Hijacking? Armenia Unfortunately ‘Confirms’ Its Position in the Global Aviation ‘Blacklist’
Armenian plane hijacking? Another deception or professional incompetence in the civil aviation of Armenia? This was stated by former advisor to the Prime Minister Hakob Jagharyan on his Facebook page.
He specifically mentioned: “On February 21, the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia received a telegram from the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the United Arab Emirates (GDCA) regarding the hijacking of a Boeing 737 aircraft registered in Armenia with the registration number EK-FAA. The aircraft had completed a flight from Tallinn, Estonia, and was scheduled to land in Yerevan. However, instead, it was decided mid-air to head to the Emirates for technical maintenance. Due to a ‘technical malfunction,’ it landed in Tehran.”
More details to follow.
Unfortunately, Armenia is ‘confirming’ its position in the global aviation ‘blacklist.’
