Video: Buildings Also Under State Protection, State Has Monopoly Right to Shoot, MP
If they have chosen that path—to swiftly seize buildings—what will they do next? This was stated by MP Andranik Kocharyan from the 'My Step' faction during an interview on Azatutyun, commenting on Vazgen Manukyan's statement that one must be ready to seize power in an instant.
“On November 10, they seized the buildings of the National Assembly, the government, and villas in a flash; what then, what did they do the next day? The people who inexplicably went out at someone’s command to seize the buildings ended up under a threat, pulling people by the hair, and even an assassination attempt was made on the Speaker of the National Assembly,” he said.
“Now it is very important to clarify where that command came from; in an instant, they already knew where they had to go and whom they were looking for. Vazgen Manukyan's speech essentially echoed the political agenda of those actions; this must be rejected. Everyone must realize that you don’t joke with the security system. Our country is not in a situation where it cannot protect its citizens and its statehood. If they are thinking about seizing buildings, let them consider that these buildings are also under state protection, and this means that the state has a monopoly right to shoot,” he added.
