Accident on Parakar-Musaler Highway Results in Fatality

The National Crisis Management Center received a call on February 22 at 01:04, reporting an accident on the road from Argavand village in the Armavir region to Zvartnots Airport, with casualties involved. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Information and Public Relations Department.

A firefighting and rescue team from Yerevan's Emergency Situations Department was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that vehicles of the brands 'Mazda' and 'Honda Elysion' had collided on the Parakar-Musaler highway, causing the 'Mazda' vehicle to veer off the roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived, three injured individuals were taken to Ejmiadzin Medical Center, with two later hospitalized at Yerevan's Erebuni Medical Center. Rescuers assisted the drivers and a passenger of the 'Honda Elysion' vehicle, who were also transported to Ejmiadzin Medical Center and subsequently to Erebuni Medical Center in Yerevan.

The injured individual H.J. (born 1999) received appropriate medical care and was discharged, while G.A. (born 1984) unfortunately succumbed to injuries. Rescuers ensured the power was disconnected from the 'Mazda' vehicle and closed the gas valve.
