Accident on Parakar-Musaler Highway Leaves One Dead
On February 22, at 01:04 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report of an accident on the road from Argavand village in Armavir province to Zvartnots Airport, with casualties involved. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting crew from the Fire and Rescue Service of Yerevan was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the accident occurred between a Mazda and a Honda Elysion, with the Mazda vehicle having veered off the roadway.
Before the arrival of the rescuers, three injured individuals were transported to Etchmiadzin Medical Center, two of whom were subsequently hospitalized at Yerevan's Erebuni Medical Center. The rescuers assisted the drivers and a passenger of the Honda Elysion, who were also taken to Etchmiadzin Medical Center and then transferred to Yerevan's Erebuni Medical Center.
One of the injured, H. J. (born in 1999), received appropriate medical care and was discharged, while G. A. (born in 1984) succumbed to their injuries.
Rescuers disconnected the power to the Mazda vehicle and closed the gas cylinder valve.
