Rescue Workers Recover Body of Drowned 59-Year-Old Man

At the shore near a guesthouse in the village of Shorja, two operational teams from the Special Water Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to resume the search for a missing citizen. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The rescuers recovered the body of Kh. M. (born in 1962).

It is recalled that on February 18, at 14:20, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a citizen had drowned near the shore by the guesthouse in Shorja village; assistance from rescue workers was needed to retrieve the body.

Two operational teams from the Special Water Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

Yesterday, at 20:09, the search operation was suspended due to darkness without any results.
