Hovhannes Tumanyan's Birthday Celebrated as Book Giving Day in Armenia
On February 19, the birthday of the renowned Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan, is celebrated in Armenia as Book Giving Day. This celebration has been observed since 2008.
Today, numerous events will take place in the capital, in the birthplace of the great poet in Lori province, and across all regions of Armenia in honor of the day.
