Garibashvili Presents New Composition of Georgian Government
The candidate for the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, has presented the new composition of the government. This was reported by the Georgia Online portal.
The details regarding the new government formation became known after the political council meeting of the ruling "Georgian Dream" party. There are only 2 changes in the government composition: Junashar Burchuladze will take over the position of Minister of Defense, and Irakli Karseladze will become the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure.

- Minister of Justice - Gocha Lortkipanidze
- Minister of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gomelauri
- Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development - Natia Turnava
- Minister of Foreign Affairs - Davit Zalkaliani
- Minister of Finance - Ivane Machavariani
- Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports - Mikhail Chkhenkeli
- Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs - Ekaterine Tikaradze
- Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture – Levan Davitashvili
- Minister of Defense - Junashar Burchuladze
- State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality - Tea Akhvlediani
According to current information, the government composition is expected to be approved by the parliament next week. Yesterday, “Georgian Dream” nominated Irakli Garibashvili for the position of Prime Minister, a necessity that arose after Giorgi Gakharia's resignation. Irakli Garibashvili has previously held the position of Prime Minister from November 20, 2013, to December 24, 2015.
