Azerbaijani Killed in Mine Explosion in Talish

An Azerbaijani was killed in a mine explosion in the village of Talish in Nagorno-Karabakh yesterday. Bakhtiyar Mahmoodov had previously been arrested twice by police for illegal incursions into the area.

According to Minval.az, in January and February of this year, Bakhtiyar Mahmoodov and his brother Shahriyar were arrested twice by law enforcement. In both instances, administrative penalties were applied against them in accordance with the law.
