Anti-Armenian Billboard Removed on Philadelphia Highway
The anti-Armenian billboard installed along I-95 in Philadelphia has been removed thanks to the efforts of the Armenian community. The announcement was made on the American National Committee of Armenia (ANCA) Facebook page, where a photo of the billboard was shared.
The billboard stated, 'Azerbaijanis (and Turks) are ready to live in harmony with Armenians. What about the Armenians?'
In the Facebook post, it was noted, 'Thank you to the Pennsylvania Armenian Advocacy Committee for their swift response, the organized actions of the community, and the final result: the anti-Armenian advertising billboard has been taken down.'
Users expressed their gratitude to everyone who reached out to the Lamar advertising agency.
