Anti-Armenian Advertisement Banner Removed in Philadelphia

Thanks to the efforts of the Armenian National Committee of America and the local Armenian community, an advertisement banner containing anti-Armenian language has been removed from Philadelphia's I-95 highway. This information was reported by the Armenian National Committee of America.

“As a result of our joint efforts, the anti-Armenian and factually incorrect advertisement banner has been removed from Philadelphia's I-95 highway. We thank everyone who reached out to Lamar Advertising Agency,” it was mentioned in a Twitter post.

The advertisement banner displayed the message: “Azeris (and Turks) are ready to live in harmony with Armenians. Are Armenians ready?” The banner indicated that the advertisement was commissioned by the American office of the Turkish trade organization MUSIAD.
